W roku 2018 minęły trzy i pół dekady sztuki niezależnej w Gdańsku, w Trójmieście – z perspektywy fundacji TNS.

Taka perspektywa czasowa związana jest z aktywnością Marka Rogulskiego - inicjatora fundacji Tysiąc Najjaśniejszych Słońc - podjętą jeszcze na początku lat 80-tych,. Choć fundacja powstała w maju 1992 roku to jej powstanie poprzedzało dziesięć lat aktywności Rogulskiego, zapoczątkowanych z jednej strony reakcją na wprowadzenie stanu wojennego w Polsce a z drugiej fascynacją prehistorią, antropologią. Oprócz przestrzeni publicznej to właśnie ciągnące się wokół Gdańska moreny polodowcowe były obszarem akcji, interwencji i wycieczek polaryzujących uwagę na zagadnienia odnoszące się do ewolucji homo sapiens i historii migracji w świecie jak i na terenach Europy i Pomorza.

Połowa lat 80tych to także współpraca z formacją Tot Art oraz od roku 1989 z Galerią Wyspa. Przede wszystkim jednak własne inicjatywy podejmowane z innymi młodymi artystami – powstanie grupy Pampers Maxi w roku 1989 (Sławek Góra, Robert Kaja, Sławomir Laskowski, Marek Rogulski), Ziemia Mindel Wurm w roku 1990 (Marek Rogulski, Piotr Wyrzykowski) oraz powstanie Stowarzyszenia Klub Inicjatyw Społecznych w roku 1990 (Andrzej Awsiej, Krzysztof Galiński, Krzysztof Figiel, Piotr Pawliszcze, Marek Rogulski) i galerii C 14 (Andrzej Awsiej, Joanna Kabala, Marek Rogulski). Równolegle nastąpiło powołanie fundacji TNS w maju 1992 (Adam Gajda, Marek Lewandowski, Marek Rogulski) a następnie współtworzenie Fundacji Otwarte Atelier w lipcu 1992 (Andrzej Awsiej, Grzegorz Klaman, Marek Rogulski, Zbigniew Sajnóg) w dawnej Łaźni miejskiej i ponad roczna działalność tam Galerii Auto da fe w latach 1993/94 (TNS / Marek Rogulski). Po upadku tego projektu w oparciu o TNS w roku 1995 powstała galeria Spichrz 7 / Spiż7 na Wyspie Spichrzów w Gdańsku. Po wieloletnim procesie działań o charakterze performatywnym, podkreślającym rzeczywisty transformacyjny charakter inicjatyw fundacji TNS w latach 1999/ 2000 w galerii Spiż7 miała miejsce odsłona projektu „Poza Postmodernizm”. Proponuje się daleko idące przewartościowania współczesnego światopoglądu, teorii i praktyki w obszarze sztuki. „Kontekstualizm abstrakcyjny” i „Nowy Totalizm” (2011) jako pojęcia wygenerowane w ramach tego projektu wyznaczyły kierunek myśli i praktyki artystycznej, intelektualnej i społecznej w perspektywie transpersonalnej. Towarzyszyły temu próby opisania rzeczywistości sztuki postkonceptualnej począwszy od lat 70tych XX wieku. Pełna perspektywa sztuki niezależnej w Trójmieście sięga bowiem czterech dekad począwszy od inicjatyw Leszka Brogowskiego, Witosława Czerwonki, Adama Harasa, Jerzego Ostrogórskiego, W roku 2012 w ramach projektu „Producenci kontekstów w obliczu przemian” fundacja TNS jako pierwsza dokonała próby zakreślenia horyzontu historycznego inicjatyw niezależnych w obszarze sztuki współczesnej w Trójmieście. W roku 2015 Galeria Spiż7 zmuszona była zakończyć działalność na Wyspie Spichrzów aby z początkiem roku 2017 reaktywować się w ramach Instytutu Cybernetyki Sztuki (ICS) w Gdańsku Osowie. W międzyczasie galeria podtrzymywała tradycję swych działań w obszarze moren polodowcowych. W ICS realizowane są projekty fundacji TNS: „Virtual”, „Kultura jako układ współrzędnych”, oraz Marka Rogulskiego, pt: „Engram i struktura dyssypatywna”. W oparciu o fundację TNS rozwija się scena performansu i współczesnej muzyki improwizowanej. W oparciu o TNS i ICS wygenerowana została koncepcja MuesseuM.

In 2018 go by three and a half decades of independent art in Gdańsk, in the Tri-City - from the perspective of the TNS foundation.

Such a time perspective is connected with the activity of Marek Rogulski - the initiator of the Thousand of the Brightiest Suns foundation - which was started at the beginning of the 80s. Although the foundation was established in May 1992, its creation was preceded by ten years of Rogulski's activity, initiated on the one hand by the reaction to the introduction of martial law in Poland and on the other by fascination with prehistory, anthropology. Apart from public space, it is the postglacial moraines stretching around Gdańsk that were the area of actions, interventions and trips that polarized attention to issues related to the evolution of homo sapiens and the history of migration in the world as well as in the areas of Europe and Pomerania.

There was also cooperation with the formation of Tot Art in the middle of eighties and with the Wyspa Gallery since 1989. Above all, however, own initiatives taken with other young artists - the creation of the Pampers Maxi group in 1989 (Sławek Góra, Robert Kaja, Sławomir Laskowski, Marek Rogulski), Ziemia Mindel Wurm in 1990 (Marek Rogulski, Piotr Wyrzykowski) and the establishment of the Association of Social Initiatives Club in 1990 (Andrzej Awsiej, Krzysztof Galiński, Krzysztof Figiel, Piotr Pawliszcze, Marek Rogulski) together with gallery C 14 (Andrzej Awsiej, Joanna Kabala, Marek Rogulski). At the same time, the TNS foundation was established in may of 1992 (Adam Gajda, Marek Lewandowski, Marek Rogulski) and then the co-creation of the Open Atelier Foundation in july of 1992 (Andrzej Awsiej, Grzegorz Klaman, Marek Rogulski, Zbigniew Sajnóg) in the former City Bath and over one year of its activity there. Auto da fe in 1993/94 (TNS / Marek Rogulski). After the collapse of this project in 1995, the Spichrz 7 / Spiż7 gallery was created on Wyspa Spichrzów in Gdańsk, based on TNS foundation. After a long-term process of actions of a performative nature, emphasizing the real transformational nature of the TNS foundation's initiatives in 1999/2000 in the Spiż7 gallery, the "Poza Postmodernizm" project took place. It is proposed a far-reaching re-evaluation of contemporary worldview, theory and practice in the field of art. "Abstract Contextualism" and "New Totalizm" (2011) as concepts generated within this project have set the direction of artistic, intellectual and social thought and practice in a transpersonal perspective. This was accompanied by attempts to describe the reality of post-conceptual art from the 1970s. The full prospect of independent art in the Tri-City spans four decades starting from the initiatives of Leszek Brogowski, Witosław Czerwonka, Adam Haras and Jerzy Ostrogórski. In 2012, under the project "Producers of contexts in the face of change", the TNS foundation first attempted to delineate the historical horizon of independent initiatives in area of contemporary art in the Tri-City. In 2015, the Spiż Gallery7 was forced to end its activity on Wyspa Spichrzów and to reactivate at the Institute of Cybernetics Art (ICS) in Gdańsk Osowa at the beginning of 2017. In the meantime, the gallery maintained the tradition of its activities in the area of postglacial moraines. In the ICS, several projects of the TNS foundation was implemented: "Virtual", "Culture as a coordinate system", and Marek Rogulski "Engram and dissipative structure" . Based on the TNS foundation, the stage of performance and contemporary improvised music is developing. Based on TNS and ICS, the MuesseuM concept was generated.
